Why hire a trainer?

Our certified personal trainers will guarantee that your workout is the most effective and safest it can be.  We can teach you the proper biomechanics from the start… or undo the bad habits you may have developed.  We will develop a customized program just for you.

 

How often should I come?

Optimal results will be seen when you strength train three times per week.  Whether or not all three times are with us or not is up to you.  On average, our clients come twice a week.  We have clients who come once a month to learn new exercises and keep some accountability and motivation.  We also have clients who come multiple times throughout the week and only do their strength training under the guidance of one of our fitness professionals.  Again, how many times you come per week is customized to fit your needs.

   

Is it too late to start?

Never!  Premier Fitness has worked with clients of all ages, shapes, sizes, levels of conditioning, various medical concerns, and fitness goals.  We start where you are and take you to where you never thought you could go.

   

How quickly will I notice results?

Results start when you do.  How soon you get results will depend on your level of consistency and commitment.  Without fail, our clients report a dramatic increase in energy, decrease in bloat, and increased strength within the first two weeks.  Serious changes towards a healthy lifestyle equal serious results.

   

What can I expect during the free consult?

The consultation is designed to gather information so as to best wrap a customized program around you.  We will conduct strength, cardio, and range of motion assessments.  It is important you inform us of any medical concerns that may affect your exercise program. Come dressed to workout and eat a small snack beforehand.  As with the workouts, the consult is customized as well.  The intensity of the workout during the consult will depend on your level of condition.  Typically, our clients come to us de-conditioned, so the workout during the consult is mild/moderate.  This initial consult is also a good time to build rapport and for you to decide if Premier Fitness is where you will be starting or continuing your fitness journey.

   

Do I need to be conditioned to do the kickboxing or tae bo?

No. Just like the personal training, we start where you are. You need not come with any skill set or prior martial arts experience at all.

   

What makes Premier Fitness different?

Trainers: Unfortunately, Pennsylvania does not regulate the fitness industry.  Any gym rat can call themselves a trainer and take your money.  Our trainers are certified and have over 40 years of combined experience.  We live the life ourselves. We have a passion for fitness and it shows through loud and clear.  Don’t be surprised if you get a motivational text, email, or phone call during the week to keep you motivated!  We care about what you are doing outside of our studio walls.  That’s where the real results are happening.

Studio: The atmosphere is very different from any gym.  Our private studio is motivating, supportive, and non-intimidating.  There are no crowds.  We cater to the individuals who are serious about improving their overall health, reducing body fat and health risks and stress levels, reaping the many benefits of living a healthier lifestyle.

Company: Premier Fitness has been serving the fitness needs of the Central Pennsylvania area for over 12 years.  Our services include equipment sales and service, nutrition consultations, personal training, Tae Bo, kickboxing, customized workouts, individual and group training.  If you have a fitness need, we are the company for you. Do you emphasize nutrition?

Yes!  What you consume is 80% of the game.  All clients provide food journals.  We guide you on how to fuel yourself pre- and post-workout so as to reap the most benefits from your session.  Again, the level of involvement with nutrition guidance is customized to you.  Every client has different nutritional needs.  We can create a customized plan that will detail meal-for-meal what you are to consume.  Let us take the guess work out of what you are supposed to eat.  Food is the most potent drug you will put in your body…good or bad.  You will be amazed at how eating a clean and unprocessed diet will change your life.

   

Can I come in any time I want?

All training sessions are by appointment only.  We protect the private training feel by not allowing anyone to workout on their own.  We are not a gym and therefore do not offer monthly membership or lock clients into contracts.  Most of our clients supplement their Premier Fitness workouts with equipment at home or a cheap gym membership.  During your consultation, we will set up appointment times that fit your busy schedule.

   

I'm nervous about getting started!

Many new clients felt that way – it’s completely normal and okay. Those nervous feelings will shortly be replaced with relief knowing you are finally taking those steps towards a healthy body that you’ve been talking about for too long!  Our clients often tell us how immediately comfortable they were with our atmosphere, trainers, and approach to fitness.  Our clients are supportive of one another and our trainers are here to guarantee you are given the guidance you seek to be the best you can be.
